Got Aerial View?

"A gain in altitude will help reset your attitude."

Landing On Purpose helps mission-seekers get an aerial view. Yes! ✈️ Aerial view!
Don’t we all need that?! A perspective from above? One that takes us up and shows us the possibilities, the beauty of what our lives have to offer if we could only see?! The Landing On Purpose Pathway for living on mission is part of the view.

One of the most anticipatory moments is the transition from being grounded to being in the air! We’re fascinated by the change in view, how far we are getting from the ground, and the change in the atmosphere. On top of that, the farther away we get, the more orderly and organized our former surroundings seem! What we behold with our eyes, makes our hearts leap!

Imagine a bright red balloon. Now imagine a giant red balloon. Okay, now turn that into a hot air balloon, the most giant balloon of them all! We’re thrilled and enthralled when we see a hot-air balloon because this balloon is able to whisk us away into the air and take us somewhere, sending us into child-like wonder! In the same way, a change in view can return to us our child-like wonder.

Last week, I showed this view to mission seekers and purpose partners in California as we uncovered how the need for relationship-building in restorative practice is proactively approached through Landing On Purpose’s mission and message-mapping method and tools.

But it starts with you! Landing On Purpose helps you get an aerial perspective of yourself, your relationships, and your mission, so you have a better understanding. Don’t take for granted that just because it’s your story you know it. Get a healing view and a fresh vision by engaging a partner to help.

A change in altitude helps reset your attitude… toward your own life, the lives of others, and the life of your community. From take-off to descent, Landing On Purpose is committed to helping you understand your "then", frame your "now" and discover your "next steps".

  1. Name an area in your life you would like to see from a fresh perspective.

  2. Do you have “mission control”—a group of wise experts with whom you communicate during your journey and who can provide multiple perspectives for both your good and the good of the mission? Who? Consider asking them for mentorship.

  3. What about a co-pilot—a friend, partner, or mentor—who you trust to travel alongside you and help shed light on the challenges ahead? Who? Consider asking them for help.
